You play as Gusion, a young girl who will soon mutate into a skeleton creature because powers of authority made some grave mistakes, and now the dead do not die.  She and her kind have powerful abilities, but it doesn't really matter.

After an attack on her home by ghouls known as the Beleth, she accompanies a giant named Eligos to find flowers which will heal the injured.

"I Want To Talk About My Friend" is a horror game based on ancient folklore, but it's also a tribute to some friends gone too soon. I started making this game as an attempt to feel less guilty about surviving. This demo is not a representation of the quality that the full project will be at, it's just the best of my skillset at the time of writing. It's a little broken and janky at times. lol.

Mentions of various forms of death and sadness, and quite a lot of reading. It's a story game first and foremost. There will be slightly less reading in the potential final version.

Known Issues.

• Crusty cutscenes. 
  • To keep loading times acceptable, I had to lower the quality of the cutscenes and it resulted in crustscenes. It was a choice between 1080p and 40+ second loading time, or 360-adjacent and about 8 seconds of loading time. I will find ways to fix it. When you hear a [whooshboom] sound it means a cutscene is gonna happen.

• Strange audio mixing.
  
  • I'm not good with audio. 

• Thick filesize.
  • I tried to remove some files to make it smaller but then the game screamed at me. I feel like I compressed it as much as I can (currently at 1.06gb). If you take the time to listen to everything and interact with everything, the demo is about 30 minutes long.
